1976 - Participated in \"Neue Fotografie aus Japan\" at the Municipal Museum, Graz
1977 - First solo exhibition \"Counting Grains of Sand\" at Minolta Photo Space, Tokyo
1985 - His photographs of Hiroshima travelled throughout Japan and abroad in an exhibition sponsered by UNESCO
1984 - Won the annual award of the Photographic Society of Japan
