As in most countries before the rise of feminism, female Hungarian photographers were highly undervalued, and had very limited opportunities for professional careers. Vadas was therefore little well-known. However, Vadas is a good example of the skill and ability of female Hungarian photographers, and her work is arguably just as skilled that of her male counterparts. Vadas’ worked in advertising and portrait photos.
