Alejandro Chaskielberg (Buenos Aires, 1977) brings an original style to the field of documentary photography, characterised by precise composition and a cinema-like use of light. His images are mesmerising stories that tell us a lot about the subjects and their nocturnal worlds. Widely known for his work La Creciente, a project shot in full moon nights at the Parana River Delta, he was recently awarded the prestigious Iberoamerican Photobook Award for his latest work Otsuchi Future Memories on the remains of the Japanese beach village hit by a tsunami in 2011.
