The Iconic Work Of William Klein Meets London’s Michael Hoppen Gallery

Matthew Kirby, Konbini, July 16, 2014

This month the Michael Hoppen Gallery will host an exhibition based on the works and photographs of the notorious photojournalist William Klein.

Born April 19, 1928, the American-born French photographer and filmmaker began by documenting the streets of New York and Paris shortly after World War II. His images often capture the absurdity of American life, challenging common social conventions with an extensive catalogue of mildly-abstract street photographs.
